POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Project Administrator provides the critical administrative and accounting support necessary to execute a successful project.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the initial set up, ongoing maintenance and close out of projects
  • Support project manager in administrative functions as needed
  • Review and transmit subcontracts and change orders
  • Follow up with subcontractors to obtain contracts, change orders, insurance certificates and close out documents in a timely manner
  • Review and transmit owner pay applications
  • Monitor adherence to contract requirements and work with subcontractors to resolve issues as needed
  • Perform project related accounts payable/job costing
  • Generate, review and track subcontractor payment requirements including lien waivers
  • Review and log certified payroll reports
  • Reconcile credit card transactions
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks or assignments as necessary for project success.
  • Assist in office administrative duties, including answering phones, handling mail, and general scanning and filing

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree or previous work experience in an administrative support role
  • Proficient in navigating Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel
  • Experience with ComputerEase and Procore software, preferred
  • Basic knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the construction industry is a plus

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Project Manager is a key operational position for the organization and serves as the single point of contact for internal and external parties during the construction phase of the project. This position is responsible for both project and field management aspects of the job and ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to client expectations. The Project Manager may be asked to provide oversight to multiple construction projects but will also shift to leading a single project when necessary.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Team Management

  •  Provide operational and financial oversight to Associate Project Managers and/or Superintendents running separate projects
  •  Provide coaching and direction to improve individual and project performance

Project and Field Management

  • Control time, cost and quality of a construction project through careful schedule management, coordination of subcontractor work, and quality oversight
  • Work with the Senior Project Manager and key decision maker in the field to identify worksite assignments, ensure the project is appropriately resourced, materials are available, and daily field operations are on track
  • Supervise the work quality, timelines and overall performance of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers and initiate corrective action if any of these aspects jeopardize the success of the project
  • Proactively identify project areas that are failing to meet expectations and identify methods to resolve issues to get projects back in line with financial, operational and scheduling requirements
  • Partner with the Centric field and safety manager to maintain a safe work site environment that is in compliance with local, state and federal safety regulations
  • Build effective working relationships with architects, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers in order to complete projects on time and ensure Centric is seen as a professional in our industry
  • Assist Lead Project Manager with project communication by facilitating internal and external meetings, keeping work schedules updated and completing weekly status reports
  • Ensure clients receive frequent communications regarding the status of the project and are made aware of viable options to problem-solve challenges
  • Provide coaching and direction to Associate Project Manager working under their direction on assigned projects

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum (4) years of experience in a commercial construction setting performing both project management and direct field supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, or an equivalent combination of closely related education and construction experience
  • Basic knowledge of project management and scheduling software
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • OSHA-10 and First-AID/CPR certifications are required within 30 days of hire
  • Previous experience in the supervision of suppliers and subcontractors on a job site

The Superintendent is responsible for managing the execution of the work in the field to maintain schedule, quality, and budget. This position will supervise field logistics, manage the daily work of the Centric field team, and ensure the successful completion of all subcontractor work. This position partners very closely with the Project Manager to ensure issues are quickly resolved, work is monitored for quality, and field members operate within required safety guidelines and project deadlines are met.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure all field personnel are working in compliance with OSHA and Centric safety requirements
  • Have a thorough understanding of all construction documents
  • Review, coordinate and understand submittals and shop drawings
  • Work with Project Manager to develop, update and maintain project schedule and three week look ahead schedules
  • Schedule, coordinate and sequence all material deliveries, subcontractors and vendors for efficient and safe completion of work in accordance with project schedule
  • Coordinate, review and inspect installed work to ensure compliance with construction documents
  • Resolve/diffuse issues quickly and effectively
  • Produce and retain field reports and documentation (i.e project schedule and cost reports, delay reports, work logs, as-built documents)
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all project stakeholders
  • Understand the project budget and work with project manager to manage cost
  • Schedule, coordinate and manage all required pre-installation meetings, permits, testing and inspections required for the project
  • Supervise completion of punch lists and final close-out of project
  • Must be able to learn, understand and utilize the technology and computer software provided by Centric as required
  • Assist in facilitating weekly jobsite meetings
  • Participate in client meetings to report project progress and resolve outstanding production issues

  • OSHA-10, OSHA-30 and First-Aid/CPR certifications, preferred. OSHA-30 is required within 60 days of employment
  • Valid driver’s license is required
